According to the Northern Carolina department of public safety, there are more than 773,000 reported cases of power outages across North Carolina.
Near Wrightsville Beach in North Carolina, Hurricane Florence made landfall this morning causing huge strong winds, intense flooding and storm surges.
Authorities have confirmed so far, 5 deaths have been linked to Florence and the entire town was cut off by water.
